Every family that wants to become a stronger family for the Lord needs to make it a priority to attend and experience FCA Family Camp.

To be on the receiving end of an event was very different for us, but much needed. We were able to cross paths and begin friendships with some very amazing folks and families. We were able to get some much needed 1-on-1 time together to just rest and communicate. We were able to enjoy some amazing worship and get fed and study the Word under some incredible leaders. Our 3 children were also able to experience the same thing with other kids their ages. They loved meeting new friends and made some lifelong memories that they still talk about today.

The work we are called to do matters.

We came to camp looking forward to a week of fun and what we found was an entire week designed to pour into our family, our marriage and our ministry as Coach and Coach's Wife/Family. From the large group sessions, to the huddle time, to the date night and hearing our 3-year old re-tell us the Bible stories she had learned in kids camp we were blown away by the way FCA intentionally invested in our family throughout the week. Camp was a much needed time of togetherness as a family, but also an opportunity for a re-centering of our ministry, and the reminder of what really matters; modeling and sharing Christ to countless teenage boys that so desperately need the Truth of the Gospel. We were reminded that though the work is exhausting and the hours we spend apart are too many to count and the sacrifices that come along with a coaching career are inevitable, it is all with great purpose. The work we are called to do matters! We cherish the memories we made and the gift of togetherness we were given and we are already counting down the days 'til next year!
