Teresa grew up in Birmingham, AL, where she attended Oak Mountain High School. She went on to play volleyball at the University of West Alabama, where she graduated with a degree in Physical Education. Teresa became active in FCA while in college. She and other athletes led FCA on campus for 3 years, and it was during those years she grew to love the FCA ministry. After graduating, Teresa interned for FCA and worked camps all over the Southeast. Soon after, she became a full-time staff member as an Area Representative.
This is Teresa's 8th school year working with FCA. She also helps direct one of the state's only FCA Leadership camps on Auburn University's campus. Teresa is married to John Chamblee, the director of FCA Baseball Alabama. They have a son, Jay, and a daughter, Andi.
"Two of my favorite things are Jesus Christ and sports, and, with FCA, you get both! I absolutely love working with young athletes and building relationships with them. Being there to support coaches and athletes as they go through their school year and seasons makes FCA a job that I love every day!"
